Built on Reputation.
Driven by Craft.
Since 2018, Eik and Stone has been the builder that PEI families and businesses trust when it matters most.
How It All Started
Mr. Mattioli started the company with a truck, a tool belt, and a reputation for showing up on time. After a decade framing houses across the Maritimes, he knew there was a better way to run a construction company — one built on transparency, craftsmanship, and accountability.
Seven years later, that philosophy still drives every project we take on. We're still a family business and we still treat every client's project like it's our own home.
We've grown from a one-man framing crew to a full-service construction firm with 15+ employees and trade partners, but our values haven't changed a bit.
Our Values
Accountability
We own every outcome. If something isn't right, we fix it — no excuses, no delays, no extra charge.
Transparency
Open books, clear contracts, honest timelines. You always know exactly where your project and your money stand.
Craftsmanship
We hire tradespeople who take pride in their work and reject shortcuts — even when they'd be easier.
Relationships
Most of our work comes from referrals. That only happens when clients trust us enough to put their own reputation on the line.
Meet the Team
Mr. Mattioli
Mr. Mattioli founded Eik and Stone with a singular conviction: that the best buildings on Prince Edward Island should be built with the same care as the land they stand on. His hands-on background and exacting standards mean every project gets leadership that understands what actually happens on site.
James Calloway
James oversees the full operational backbone of Eik and Stone — trade coordination, scheduling, contracts, and client communication. His systems are why projects stay on time and clients stay informed from groundbreak to handover.
Daniel MacPhail
Daniel has managed over 50 residential and commercial projects across PEI. Known for his calm under pressure, he insists on doing things right the first time — every time.
Thomas Reid
Thomas brings a quantity surveying background to every budget he produces. His estimates are precise, transparent, and buildable — clients get numbers they can actually rely on.
Colin MacDougall
Colin runs Eik and Stone job sites with quiet authority. Every trade shows up, every inspection passes, and every detail matches the drawings. He has been the backbone of our site operations since the beginning.
Marcus Webb
Marcus is your main point of contact from the first call through to final walkthrough. He bridges the gap between client, office, and site — nothing falls through the cracks on his watch.
